Liverpool forward Sadio Mane is set for a long wait on the sidelines with a hamstring injury after latest examination has revealed that he could be out for up to six weeks.
Mane picked up on international duty with Senegal and was substituted in the 89th minute of their 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over Cape Verde on Saturday.
This is a big catastrophe for the Kops as stats shows that they have averaged 2.2 Premier League goals with Mane in the team, compared to 1.6 goals in his absence.
The 25-year old will miss two crucial games against South Africa on 10 and 14 November for Senegal and Liverpool EPL games against Manchester United (this weekend), Tottenham Hotspur and Maribor in the Champion league.
Mane missed three games earlier this season after being sent off for a foul on Ederson in the 5-0 defeat at Manchester City.
