Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has signed a new five-year contract with Liverpool.
Salah, who joined from Roma, was the top scorer in the Premier League last season, netting 32 goals, which is the most by a player in a 38-game campaign and also led them to the final of the Champions league where they lost 3-1 to Real Madrid.
He also won last season’s Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year award and Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year.
The 26-year old was also being poached by bot Real Madrid and Barcelona prior to the World Cup.
This will come as a cheery news for the Reds who have also added Naby Keita and Fabinho to their ranks.
