28-year-old model and Victoria Secret’s Fashion Show fave Shanina Shaik, may have some explosive news on Victoria Secret’s annual lingerie runway event.

Shaik told Australia’s The Daily Telegraph, via The Daily Mail, that Victoria’s Secret has canceled the 2019 show.

“Unfortunately the Victoria’s Secret show won’t be happening this year,” she said. “It’s something I’m not used to because every year around this time I’m training like an angel. But I’m sure in the future something will happen, which I’m pretty sure about. I’m sure they’re trying to work on branding and new ways to do the show because it’s the best show in the world.”

This bombshell gives credence to the news of cancellation and removal of the show from TV in a report curated by The New York Times in May.

This comes after the show suffered heavy criticism when last year it’s marketing manager Ed Razek implied there was no place for plus-size and transgender models on the show in an interview with Vogue.
