As far as being real goes, Tiffany Haddish has certainly raised the bar for other celebrities.
The ‘Girls Trip‘ star wore the same Alexander McQueen dress that she wore to the premiere of the movie, to present an award at this year’s Oscars held over the weekend.
She said she bought it with her own money and should be allowed to wear it as often as she likes.
Haddish has also worn the dress to host an episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL) before.
She explained her reasoning during her SNL opening monologue, saying:
“Like this dress? I wore it on the red carpet for Girls Trip and my whole team, they told me, ‘Tiffany, you cannot wear that dress on SNL. You already wore it. It’s taboo to wear it twice,’ and I said, ‘I don’t give a dang about no taboo.’”
She continued: “I spent a lot of money on this dress! This dress cost way more than my mortgage … this is an Alexander McQueen, okay? It’s a $4000 dress. I’m [going to] wear this dress multiple times! Real talk. You might see this dress in two sketches tonight, okay?”
How down to earth can a person be?! Big Ups to Tiffany Haddish.
