When Simi dropped her Simisola album, the internet was ripe with reviews and criticisms, but most feedbacks were positive and so we (the world) endorsed her.

Off that album, the singer dropped a cover of veteran musician, Ebenezer Obey’s ‘Aimasiko‘, and she has now released its video.

True to the preaching of the song, Simi covered life’s challenges and how to deal with them in her video, but hers was with a twist.

Rather than the usual fantasy happy endings most music videos project, Simi went out of her way to stick with the facts.

Her video seemed to resonate the message that there may be challenges in life, but it is your attitude towards those challenges that matter. Plus the fact that God is on your case (oro mi l’owo Oluwa l’owa o).

The singer also featured the original singer of the song, where Ebenezer Obey lent his vocal prowess to a portion of the video.

In all, we rate this video a 9 out 10, just because nobody is perfect and for our love for Simi.
