Red meat

Red Meat is a rich source of vitamins and minerals, and also a major source of protein. However, too much red meat is not known to have any benefit when it comes to achieving a flat stomach. Ordinarily, red meat is allied with weight gain and high levels of fat. It also contains high levels of sodium and preservatives, which can lead to water retention or bloating.

Refined sugar

Sugar is a form of carbohydrate filled with empty calories and no nutrition. The consumption of sugar, especially the added sugars in your drinks, lead to weight gain and obesity and various other health problems.

Soft drinks

Soda is sweetened with artificial sugars and high-fructose corn syrup. Consuming large amounts of soft drinks result in increased intra-abdominal fat. Even reaching for diet soda won’t make a difference.

Alcohol

Your drinking pattern matters just as much as your choice of alcohol. People who had more than one drink in a sitting, even if it was just once a week, had more abdominal fat than those who drank small amounts of alcohol more regularly.

Cheese

Cheese  contains saturated fat, eating too much of it can definitely show up in the place you least want it to- your stomach. But since a life without cheese is just not one worth living, eat it in moderation and offset cravings with healthy fats found in salmon, oil, and walnuts.

Bread

Refined carbohydrates like bread are another food that should be limited in a healthy diet. Try replacing bread with something healthier—think protein and fruit. You might even notice a difference in your energy levels throughout the day.
