This generation has been faced with an entirely new form of flirtation since the dawn of social media and it is starting to get extremely annoying. Between Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr there are so many ways for your significant to lose sight of their main goal, which is you… obviously

A friend of mine just told me she considers someone constantly liking another guy’s Instagram pictures a form of cheating. I know it isn’t physical cheating, but it still seems like a form of flirtation. Am I right here? I know that I sound like a crazy person, but how does one deal with this?

‘He liked Salewa’s pic? Before mine? So… we’re broken up abi?

This culture that is so enthralled with being present on social media is also defining a whole new set of “relationship rules” whenever it comes to social media. Would you feel comfortable knowing that your boyfriend or girlfriend was liking or posting on photos or statuses of someone that they could possibly be sexually attracted to? I know that I would not.

So I am reaching out to you for your thoughts and opinions on this topic. Our generation is all about reaching out and asking for help, so why don’t we join together and define these new “relationship rules” together.

Comment with your opinion.
