Soulja Boy’s most recent run-in with the law has already cost him a gig. The rapper was dropped from Fordham University’s Spring Weekend concert after he was arrested.
The move comes after Soulja Boy was arrested during a regular check-in with his probation officer because ammunition had been found at his house.
Following his arrest, Fordham’s Campus Activity Board felt it was no longer appropriate for the artist to participate in the annual concert.
“After careful consideration, the Campus Activities Board has decided to remove Soulja Boy from the Spring Weekend concert lineup,” the organization announced in a statement.
While the rapper was released from custody last week so that he could perform the halftime show at a Los Angeles Clippers game, he still must appear at a formal probation violation hearing later this month.
