He bleeds blue- Willian signs new Chelsea contract
Brazilian international Willian has signed a new contract with Chelsea and committed himself to the club for four more years, under the reins of new coach Antonio Conte.
Willian, 27, was one of the few players that stood out with his impressive consistent form all through last season, scoring goals even when Chelsea fans had lost hope.
His outstanding performance did not go unnoticed, he was awarded the club’s player and Player’s player of the year awards last season.
The winger, who spoke on his contract extension, was nothing but praises of Chelsea as he revealed he was looking forward to winning more titles for the club.
Guess which Liverpool star is set for a move to Fenerbahce?
This is Martin Skrtel. Martin Skrtel is a sharp guy. Be like Martin Skrtel.
Following his social media diss (though he claims it was his friend that did it) of Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp, the defender has now made a decision to leave the club and head to Turkey.
The 37-year old is very close to sealing a deal to Fenerbahce. We think this is a wise movie for his career, because let’s face it, he was barely getting any playing time at all and with the Instagram brouhaha, it seems unlikely his situation would have changed any time soon.
While speaking on his move to the Turkey side, he revealed why he accepted Fenerbahce’s offer.
“I am very happy to be here,” Skrtel told Fenerbahce TV.
“There were some offers from the other clubs but as I said before to a newspaper, the offer from the Fenerbahce was very straight from the beginning.
“Fenerbahce is a massive club and for these reasons I accepted this offer. Tomorrow we’ll complete the last step and I hope tomorrow I’ll become a Fenerbahce player officially.”
Well done Skrtel, wish you all the best at your new club.
