Former Death Row boss and US rap mogul Suge Knight has pleaded no contest to a voluntary manslaughter charge over a hit-and-run incident in 2015.

The controversial record label owner entered the plea in Los Angeles Superior Court and has agreed to serve 28 years in prison. The plea came days before jury selection was scheduled to begin in the long-delayed case.
