Despite the sterling performances of the Super Eagles of Nigeria in recent matches, they have dropped nine places to 50th in the November FIFA ranking.

Super Eagles

In October, the Super Eagles were ranked 41st in October, after beating Zambia 1-0 to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

But, despite thrashing Argentina 4-2 in an international friendly earlier this month, they are now eighth on the continent.

Senegal is number one in Africa followed by Tunisia, Egypt, Congo and Morocco respectively.

Internationally, Germany is still the best team in the world. Brazil follows the world champions in second place, with Portugal in third, Argentina is fourth and Belgium completing the top five.
