World Football governing body (FIFA) has today, published its latest rankings of National Teams for this month.
The rankings saw the Super Eagles move four positions to number 44, while they are third in the continental ranking only behind Tunisia and Senegal courtesy of their two victories against the Mediterranean Knights in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Congo Democratic Republic and Morocco complete the top five teams in Africa in that order.
The top five countries in the overall rankings are: Belgium, France, Brazil, Croatia and England.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 29 November 2018.
