Former Super Eagles player Taye Taiwo has joined Finnish Veikkausliiga side Rovaniemen Palloseura on a one-season deal.
The 32-year-old who has over 50 caps playing for Nigeria’s national team, is joining his second Finnish team having played for HJK Helsinki between 2015 and 2016.

Taiwo told the club’s official website : ”I’ve already learned that every match can not always win, but each match can give everything.
”In the field, I do not like it if the opponent can play. I do not want to give the opponents the opportunity to control the game, but I want to be the one who plays and controls.”
Taiwo is currently in Kajaani his new teammates are camping ahead of Saturday’s Suomen Cup match against KuPS.
The left-back has represented Marseille, AC Milan, Queens Park Rangers, Bursaspor, Dynamo Kiev, Lausanne and AFC Eskilstuna.
