Taylor Swift has publicly declared her regret for slamming her ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas on Ellen DeGeneres show back when he broke up with her.
The award winning artiste appeared on Ellen’s show for the first time in years this week, where she expressed her regrets for having her outburst back when the singer broke up with her.
Amidst discussions on many topics, including her favourite movie, Someone Great on Netflix, Ellen asked her and she confessed that she regretted the way she treated her ex, Joe Jonas when she was on Ellen before.
Swift had dated Jonas for about 3 months when she was 18 and she spoke about their break up on Ellen DeGenres show.
“We haven’t talked since [the breakup], actually,” she started. “So it’s like, yeah, but you know what? Someday I’m going to find someone really, really great who’s right for me and…” DeGeneres then cut in to jokingly suggest she date one of Jonas’s brothers. There was some laughter, but eventually Swift returned to that sentiment of finding someone better, and that’s when she let how Jonas broke up with her slip. “Oh, it’s okay. It’s all right. I’m cool. You know what? It’s like when I find that person, that is right for me and he’ll be wonderful, and when I look at that person, I’m not even going to be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18.”

Now at 29, Swift was asked what the most rebellious thing she did as a teenager was during DeGeneres’s Burning Questions game. “Probably when I put Joe Jonas on blast on your show,” she answered. “That was too much. Yeah, that was too much. I was 18. We laugh about it now. That was mouthy, yeah, teenage stuff there.”
