The launch of Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s debut album has been delayed, only days after the controversial rapper was arrested on firearms and racketeering charges.
The New York star was set to release ‘Dummy Boy’ today (November 23), but it’s now been confirmed that the record will drop at a later date.
“Due to circumstances beyond our control we have postponed the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Dummy Boy until further notice,” a post on the star’s Instagram confirms.
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Kanye West will feature on the record, alongside an appearance from Nicki Minaj. Posting on Instagram, Minaj also confirmed the record’s delay and offered a message of support.
“For reasons beyond music, the record company will hold off on putting his project out for now. Danny, I love you and am praying for you, your Mother, daughter & her Mom during this time“, she wrote.
