Best rapper at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards, M.anifest is not just one of the best rappers in Ghana, his pen game also makes him one of the best rappers in the world. M Dot is one of those versatile MC’s and this shows from the range of his collabs, he has collaborations with the likes of Erykah Badu, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Damon Alborn from the Gorillaz. With 5 projects under his belt, Manifest just shows he’s an MC’s MC.

Sarkodie rose to prominence when he appeared on Adom FM’s popular rap competition ‘Kasahare Level’ and gained cult follower-ship through rap battles. Reggie Rockstone

Reggie pioneered the Hiplife art form and has played an important role in the development of this uniquely African genre in Ghana’s capital Accra, Reggie is multi-skilled on the mic and he raps in Akan Twi and English. Kwaw Kese

Former meter reader for the Electricity Company of Ghana, Kwaw Kese started writing songs and performing at age 14. Abodam as he is popularly called because of his crazy delivery and stage presence has recorded songs with Wyclef Jean, 2Face Idibia, Sarkodie, Brymo and Memphis Bleek. His 2007 hit Abodam is forever a classic and he won five awards at the 2008 edition of the Ghana Music Awards.

D Black

Multiple award-winning rapper D Black is not just your average MC, other than spitting bars he’s also an entrepreneur, he owns and operates a marketing  firm called Black Avenue Works. With over 15 awards and a plethora of hit singles, D Black got bars and the business acumen to back it up
