Now is the best time to inform yourself on what is cool and what’s not this 2020.

Hundreds of runway shows were conducted between December to February through London , Milan, Paris and New York.

(Just by the way, Milan Fashion Week was in my opinion the most interesting, followed by Paris.)

If you’re a keen fashion week follower, you already know that Milan FW Fall 2020 just concluded and I’ve rounded up all the forecasted trends that stormed the runway.

Being so booked and busy I don’t expect you to go digging through the videos to explore the trends that will secure your fashionista status so I’ve combined them and we’d take these trends one after the other.

POWERSUITS and BLAZERS

VERSACE

The tailored looks were perfection on both men and women.

Details

Single for female

Double-breasted for men

PRADA

The suits were boxy 70’s style with a thick textured material.

Details

Neutral tones

Belted Blazers

Matched with fringe skirts

MSGM

The looks were an homage to gory, scary movies.

Details:

Dark Hues

Embellished suits paired with sleek, gothic hairstyles.

BOTTEGA VENETA

It was a co-ed affair.

Daniel Lee teased us with tailored suits worn with Chanel-esque chain encrusted knitwear…

My highlight was the square-toed boots that offer an ‘edge’ to the whole look and Neon bug-eye glasses.

Details:

Boxy 70’s tailoring (which was clearly the theme of the week)

Paired with 90’s Bug-Eye glasses for your ultra chic vibes.
