Street-wear boasts an aesthetic that is very IN-YOUR-FACE. So when the rich kids of Instagram started flexing with their street-wear inspired luxury items, all the big names in fashion had to respond swiftly.
In the last three years, luxury retailers have partnered up with street-wear brands to tap into a younger consumer base and to experiment with different styles.

In March he was appointed director of Louis Vuitton and nothing has been the same since then.
He birthed a collaboration with the biggest street-wear brand SUPREME, and it was the talk of the fashion world.

The collection included Louis Vuitton printed bags and miniaturized trunks. Look at the luxury retail market today and you would find that Graphic tees hold higher value than small leather goods and purses.
Jacque Mus entered the rat race with a bang … his miniscule versions of his already exositing accessories were phenomenal …
Burberry that was quiet and understated as a brand found its voice (loud and clear) in the street-wear realm as they introduced their new logo accessory line; included scarves and purse.
Burberry is also experimenting with their athleisure line. It is currently offering neon colours in the form of their new collection sweatshirts and our very own Davido rocked it to the Knicks Game a few days ago.
