Rihanna fans would have to wait a little longer for that album, but now they have something to cheer up about as the singers forthcoming documentary is probably right around the corner.
Last December news circulated that Amazon had paid a sum of about $25 million to grab the rights to the highly anticipated film directed by Peter Berg. In a new piece about some of Berg’s forthcoming projects, DEADLINE has revealed the news that the documentary is titled “Rihanna: Volume 1”. This could also mean that the documentary could be a series.
Rihanna and Peter Berg previously worked on the 2012 movie “Battleship” and had exclusive access to the singer’s day to day life for past many years. According to the description, it’s “an unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life, providing a glimpse into the evolution of one of the world’s most well-known pop artists.” It also mentions: “unparalleled access into the singer’s life and over 1,200 hours of footage.”
The release date for the documentary hasn’t been revealed yet would however take viewers on “a journey through private insights into Rihanna’s personality and humor, philosophies on work, family and love that are both moving and inspirational.”
