Also, Burna Boy who just released his album “Outside” talked about his love for fashion and how he’s the type that did not like to follow trends but will rather create his own style to suite himself.
“I was always the one who didn’t really want to follow that. I wanted to start it. I just always went off. I just always came up with my own little twist.
“To me, it’s always about mixing it up, just making it me. It doesn’t even matter what it is, I’m going to find a way to make it me,” he said.
He also revealed that the legendary Fela Kuti and the ’90s in general influenced his type of style. “As soon as you see something that Fela would wear or he puts something on, you just know that’s his. That’s what I learned from Fela Kuti.”
The talented singer, Falana also talked about her hair and how she eventually decided to embrace her natural hair after her wig came off during a group workout class a few years ago.
“It was so embarrassing, but I am grateful because that was the moment I decided to stop trying to fit in and embrace my natural hair,” she said.
