Executive Chairman Lagos State Sports’ Commission Dr. kweku explained that though there would be two categories of races in the 2018 Marathon event, the 42km race and the 10km race, the 10km race which is for families, is the first of its kind in the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon and has so far drawn the support and partnerships of sponsors and stakeholders, among which are GAC Motors, the Seven-Up bottling Company and among others.

Access Bank’s Executive Director for the Marathon event, Victor Itoku who is very excited about the event says that as thousands of Nigerians come out to run, it is very important that asides their intentions to win, much more should be their resolve to have fun and participate in the quest for a healthy lifestyle.
