History was made over the weekend as Tiwa Savage, amidst a very successful sale of her capsule tour line “savage tour” designed by renowned designer Irene Agbotaen, became first female Afrobeats artiste to sell out the O2 stadium in London.
The show was a rippling a success as tickets sold out before it began and the venue was packed full with excited fans and sure, the Nigerian “Bey Queen” didn’t disappoint.
She showed up in her ever exceptional style wearing a yellow tulle dress that highlighted her rich brown skin and performed hit tracks to the screaming audience.

The crowd was especially moved as Tiwa Savage payed tributes in heart rending songs to African Icons such as Mandela and the recently deceased Kofi Annan.
Alternate Sound, the official band, also brought to life performances of Don Jazzy, Dr. Sid, Korede Bello, Awilo, WSTRN, and Mystro.

For a second outfit, she was sheathed in a gold plated jumpsuit that accentuated her curves and showed off her well toned body. After the rush was over, she headed out to meet excitement-flushed fans and friends in a yellow mini dress and see-through Louis Vuitton jacket.
