Having to listen to the same songs over and over again this holiday can be a drag, which is why we came up with a list of songs centered on the holiday that are definitely worth your time:

  1. Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin’ Stevens

This is  one of my Christmas favourites. It is by no means slow, its upbeat and you can’t help but dance to it.This is one of the best Christmas songs and it is funny it doesn’t get enough airplay or any for that matter.

2. Auld Lang Syne by Lea Michele

This is basically everybody’s favourite cross over song and definitely the most popular. It is a beautiful song but I really love this cover, it’s soulful and there’s a depth Lea gave this song that the other versions do not necessarily have.

3. Auld Lang Syne by Mariah Carey

Still on Auld Lang Syne. Mariah’s rendition of this hit song is  beautiful.

Her sultry voice soothes you at everything that the new year is beautiful. There’s a sultriness and playfulness in this performance you can’t help but love.

4.Little Boy by Pentatonix

Take it from me this is the best Little Drummer Boy cover out there. It is how I knew and fell in love with Pentatonix. The melody and harmony that the group produces will relax you at any time and have you giggling like a child.

5. 8 Days Of Christmas

Not about the birth of Christ and all but everyone’s always singing Mariah Carey’s All I want For Christmas Is You anyway.

It is a lovely jam and it feels like Christmas *wink wink* Listen.
