We’re always looking for quick and easy recipes for healthy juices to have in the morning. There are many benefits to drinking your healthy foods such as getting all your essential nutrients in one sitting, aiding digestion, and naturally flushing out the toxins out of your body. Getting radiant skin isn’t limited to cleansing and moisturizing. It is also important that we consume raw foods that will show from the inside out. Here is a list of our favourite combinations:

  1. Sweet Potato + Spinach + Ginger Juice

This vegetable juice has several surprising benefits. Sweet potato skin is rich in beta-carotene that has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that prevents against free radical damage to the skin. Spinach is rich in vitamin K and iron while ginger promotes blood circulation and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

  1. Apple + celery + kale leaves

This green juice is packed with essential nutrients that leaves your skin glowing such vitamin C and K. Vitamin C helps keep your skin firm + gives it an inner radiance while vitamin K helps reduce stress levels.

 

  1. Beetroot + Celery+ Ginger

Beetroot juice is already a Lagos favourite with the likes of popular drinks such as Zobo. However, with this juice hold the sugar and alcohol and replace it with ginger and celery. With that you get a power packed nutrient including iron, folic acid, manganese and vitamin C. These are known to purify blood which aids in revealing healthy skin.

  1. Ginger + Lemon juice

This juice combo is as old as time and has been used to fight against common colds. Other benefits include working perfectly on skin problems because it contains 40 antioxidant compounds that protects the skin from premature aging, dullness, loose skin, and acne scars. It also helps to flush out toxins and increase blood circulation.

  1. Tomato + Carrot

This mixture may sound a bit odd, but both super foods are known to reduce breakouts, lighten blemishes, even out skin tone and reverse sings of ageing. Carrots also contain vitamin A, which helps in fighting acne, wrinkles and pigmentation. The high fibre content cleanses the stomach and enhances facial glow.
