Fashion mogul and serial entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani is the cover star for Taylor Live Magazine‘s new issue.
The cover shows the Tiannah’s Place Empire boss in a flaming gold Egyptian regal jewels and accessories. Tagged Òrìṣà: King of Queens, the shoot also doubles as her birthday photos took place.
Taylor magazine played to book as the shoot location was the ancient Erin Ijesa waterfall in Osun State.
Toyin’s fierce persona fit like gloves to the theme as she channeled the goddess in a gold halo-style headpiece, a bedazzled nude set with an extended train and a gold staff sealing of the look.
In a quick sit down the magazine, Toyin Lawani opens up on her journey as one of the biggest fashion and style entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
According to the publication:
“Toyin’s mum played a huge role in shaping her daughter’s pathway; from the age of 17 to her mid 20s, she introduced Toyin to a number of dealers in fabric and hair products all across the middle east and Central Asia where she mastered the art of hair processing, colouring, hair treatment, and wefting.
Toyin Lawani started by giving fashion advice and styling her friends for events. She has since then developed her own styling outfit and grown become one of the most sought after stylists in the Nigerian Fashion Industry.”
