The ongoing feud between Fast & Furious stars Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne Johnson has intensified with Gibson taking to Instagram to announce that he will not feature in Furious 9 if Johnson is a member of the cast.
The war of words between both actors began when Gibson pleaded with Johnson to postpone the then-developing Fast & Furious spin-off starring Johnson’s Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw.
After Universal announced that Fast & Furious 9 would be pushed back a full year and confirmed the spin-off will take the 2019 release year, Gibson took to Instagram to blame Johnson for delaying production of the 9th instalment.
Now, Gibson has declared his intention to sit out of Fast and Furious 9 all together should Johnson be a member of the ensemble cast.
Meanwhile, Gibson broke down in tears in an emotional video as he discussed the ongoing custody battle surrounding his daughter. His ex-wife Norma is seeking to obtain a permanent restraining order against him and to get full custody of their daughter.
Looking distraught in the video he weeps: “Don’t take my baby please, don’t take my baby. This is all I got, this is all I got, this is all I got. Don’t take my baby, OK? I’ve been away from my baby for two months. I just want my baby and no one’s listening because no one is in the courtroom.”
