Real Madrid scrapped themselves into the UEFA champions league final set to hold in Kyiv on the 26th of May after they survived Bayern Munich’s onslaught to hold them to a 2-2 draw.
Karim Benzema got himself a brace while Joshua Kimmich and James Rodriguez scored for the Bavarians.
The result made sure that the Spanish side went through on a 4-3 aggregate.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, broke Xavi’s record for appearances in the competition with 152 appearances to his name.
