The Mohammed Salah miracle all but destroyed Manchester City just in the first half of their quarter-final encounter last night.
Salah opened the scoring in the 12th minute before Oxlade-chamberlain doubled the lead 12 minutes later. Sadio Mane added the third just before half-time as Man City were still searching for answers.
The second half was much better for the Citizens as they knocked at the door of the Reds defence for much of the half but that could not materialize as Alexander-Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk kept them at bay.
Mo Salah was substituted early in the second half due to some injury complaints but the Kopites will be more than happy while being alert as they have the three-goal advantage going into the second leg.
In Camp Nou, two own goals from Roma aided Barcelona to a 4-1 victory in the second quarter-final tie. Gerard Pique and Louis Suarez were the other scorers.
