Here’s a quick update on everything going on in this years Champions League:
Napoli almost lost Besiktas but Marek Hamsik’s 82nd minute goal sealed a draw for the Italians. Just minutes after, Ricardo Quaresema put Besiktas ahead.
Paris Saint Germain proved themselves to be the much better side as they defeated Belgium’s Basel by 2-1. The French champions have now qualified for the next round, as a result of their impressive start.
Revenge is a dish best served cold and it was cold at the Etihad stadium as Manchester City got the better of Barcelona by 3-1. Edging them closer to their goal of a qualification.
Arsenal has secured a place in the knockout stage, thanks to Mesut Ozil’s late goal, which helped secure a 3-2 win over Ludogorets.
Diego Simeone’s men were on top of their game as they defeated Rostov by 2-0 to book a place in the knockout stage.
Robert Lewandoski double sealed a 2-1 win over PSV, to secure a knockout stage ticket from Group D.
