“I once went for an event where the speaker said you are not poor because you don’t have money, but you are poor when you do not have quality relationships or genuine long standing relationships with people. This is a sort of audacious expression but it just might be true.”

Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) is set to hold its 16th Annual Conference on November 13 and 14 at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Annual Conference is WIMBIZ’s flagship event which holds in November every year. From the first Annual Conference with a little over 200 delegates in attendance, the Conference has solidified its position as a key event in the Nigerian corporate events calendar, attracting over 1,400 delegates in 2016.

The 16th Annual Conference themed ‘The Future is here,’ will examine the emerging business and economic trends across Africa highlighting the challenges that limit the economic participation and contribution of women whilst spotlighting the myriad trade & investment opportunities available within Nigeria and across Africa.

Rich with relevant content, the conference will feature diverse plenaries on a variety of topics including Manufacturing, Innovative Business Models, African Business Opportunities, Women in Careers, Funding Alternatives and much more.

This year, WIMBIZ will also be having an exclusively male panel speaking on Women Gaining Ground, The Male Perspective. With 300 slots reserved for male delegates, men are invited to register and attend the Conference.

The WIMBIZ Annual Conference is dynamic, with something new to experience at the conference each year. The 16th Annual Conference features side events such as The Power Cocktail and the Conference After Party.
