The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have been visited twice in a row in this week as they remain in their temporary abode of the cells of EFCC.
It was reported that, the likes of Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK), Bala Mohammed, Musiliu Obanikoro and Reuben Abati who was the former presidential spokesperson, were paid the solidarity visit by delegates from their party, led by Ahmed Mafarti.
Ahmed Mafarti led some members which included the National Secretary, Ben Obi, National Publicity Secretary, Dayo Adeyeye and the National Organising Secretary, Abdul Ningi on the visitation to the EFCC headquarters in Abuja at about 2:30pm.
The delegates communed with the detainees who are all being held for various corruption charges. They encouraged them to remain strong and never lose hope. They assured them that the PDP family is solidly behind them.
It was also reported that the detainees were in high-spirits and were happy for the concern shown by their party members.
Earlier this week, the same detainees among others, were also visited by a Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Mathew Kukah, at the EFCC cells.
