Jeezy and Gucci Mane’s Verzuz face-off took place tonight at Atlanta’s Magic City, and for most of the battle, it was a very tense one.
Gucci opened by performing the Jeezy diss track “Round 1.”
Before “Gangsta Music,” Jeezy refused to stand up from his chair while Gucci remained on his feet. “That was cute,” each of them said at different points in response to their counterpart’s performance. Gucci kept picking newer songs during rounds where Jeezy played tracks from 2005 (or, as Gucci called it, “that old ass shit”).
Later, Gucci bragged about his jewelry and outfit. “I want y’all to praise my outfit,” he said. “It cost 10 bands. Look at my opponent! Look at my opponent!” Jeezy replied, “I didn’t know this was a fashion show,” and then he bragged about how much real estate he owns in Atlanta.
The two rappers have been involved in an ongoing feud dating back 15 years which has included countless dis records, fights between the two rappers’ entourages and even a murder charge against Gucci, of which he was acquitted in 2006.

It seems there may be peace between the two going forward. They ended the stream performing “So Icy,” a 2005 hit that featured both rappers. The livestream drew at least 1.8 million people Thursday.
“I appreciate you for extending the olive branch, I respect that,” Gucci said
