British Artists are taking over the charts, from their slangs and influence to their culture. Here are five British artists that deserve a spot on your playlist

Following his 2016 hit, Addison Lee, 19 year old East London born and bred rapper Not3s put all his time and effort into developing his career, Not3s went from an online sensation to a household name in a relatively short time. Not3s is currently signed to Relentless/Sony and his latest single Aladdin already has 20 million views on YouTube, so you know he’s no joke. Favouring melody to bars, Not3s ever growing fan base is on the rise. His Take Not3s extended play was released in November.
If Jazz music and Trap music had a lovechild, Iamddb’s sound would be the poster kid for that type of music. 21 year old Iamddb draws inspiration from her Portuguese and Angolan roots and she has been producing and writing her own music since 2015. Iamddb takes from a potpourri of sounds, with a dash of smooth hip-hop music here, elements of trip-jazz, neo-soul and trap music there, Iamddb’s unique sound is definitely one British artist you should look out for

Multi-disciplinary artist, Kojey Radical is not your average rapper. He’s a creative whose work spans music, poetry, fashion, and visual arts. Kojey’s social conscious bars can’t be missed, He’s constantly rapping about race, identity and social politics. According to him ‘write with the urgency and honesty of someone [with] a gun to your head’. Kojey’s 2016 EP earned him a MOBO nomination so you know he’s destined for great things
