The weather has been super off recently. Showers of rain falling here and there anyhow. While sometimes we’re grateful for the weather at other times we need food that will warm us up from the inside. This weekend’s food venture is definitely that- Yam and Plantain with Fresh Fish Pepper Soup.
This meal is really easy to prepare and it will surely bring smiles to the faces of your special ones. The recipe for this meal is very simple:
- A tuber of Yam
- A bunch of ripe plantains
- Fresh fish
- Pepper Soup Ingredient
- Scent leaf
Let’s get cooking
Here’s how I do it- I wash peel and cut the yam, do the same to the plantain and then wash my fish and scent leaf. Next, I add a good amount of water to my big cooking pot, add my ingredients all together, wait till it boils and voila, my dish is ready (lol).
Make sure you try this recipe this weekend and have fun staying in with your special person. Don’t forget to share pictures with Accelerate on Instagram @accelerate_tv .
If yam isn’t your cup of tea then try out last weeks weekend food-venture instead.
