Williams, 54, who has been on break from “The Wendy Williams Show” since December will finally return to host on Monday, March 4.
“Wendy Williams is an incredible talent with the most unique voice in the daytime,” the show’s production company, Debmar-Mercury, said in a statement. “We can’t wait to welcome her back to her iconic purple chair on the set of her show …”
The statement continued, “We so appreciate all of the guest hosts and panellists who filled in for Wendy during this time. These people are, and always will be, true family to the show. And we want to thank all of the loyal and supportive fans who have been with us for 10 years now.”
Williams took a hiatus from her morning show to treat her Graves’ disease. While she was taking care of herself, Nick Cannon, Michael Rapaport, Jerry O’Connell and more guests filled in for her as hosts.
