Arsene Wenger’s days at Arsenal may be over if the fans have their way. But they can only protest.
Nevertheless, the performance of Arsenal in their 3 to 1 loss to West Brom may be a bitter pill to swallow for Wenger. Arsenal is now 5th with 50 points as the Gunners suffered a fourth defeat in five league games.
Craig Dawson 12′, 75′ and Hal Robson-Kano 42′ scored for West Brom while Arsenal’s goal was scored by Sanchez 15′.
As a result of this poor run, reports have now emerged that Wenger ‘has made his decision’.
He said after the match: “Don’t worry, I know what I will do in my future so you will soon know, very soon. You will see. Today I don’t necessarily worry about that. We are in a unique bad patch that we haven’t had in 20 years. We lose game after game at the moment, and that is more important for me than my future.
“We have a big fight and it will be very difficult now, but there is no other way than fighting and we must do it until the last game of the season. If it’s not good enough we take the consequences. And maybe, one day, if we don’t do it, people will enjoy it more to be in there.”
The fans of the club will probably expect that the decision will be Wenger quitting.
