Fashion is a means of expression as well as a way for people to form an impression about you. Sometimes, people unknowingly create an impression that will influence how people see you. Here are a few things people can gather by just observing the way you dress:
Sloppy and wrinkled clothes: This gives an I-don’t-care impression. Sometimes, a person dressed like that is properly busy and spends less time taking care of their looks. Busy beavers don’t have time for fashion.
Sweatpants all day, every day: These are usually people that are self-conscious and sometimes a bit lazy. They don’t want to put in any extra effort to impress anyone and so they settle for the most comfortable thing in their closet. Once in a while sweatpants is usually advisable for that Saturday morning errand.
Jeans, shirts and flip flops: There are some people that I feel are allergic to shoes. Most times, they are people that are easy going and care just a little about what other people might think about them. They can shrug off things other people see as seriously unnerving.
Workout clothes: you know those guys you see at the mall wearing tight shirts that let you see almost every detail of their body? Well, these kinds of people work hard on getting that physique and will wear clothes that will enable people admire it. Attention grabbing more or less.
There is no need for some stereotypical grouping because sometimes who you are may differ from how you are dressed. In order to avoid some misconceptions, it will be better to avoid outfits that will give a different vibe. Fashion is however personal and it all depends on what you are comfortable with.
