Rap and fashion have always gone hand in hand, so it’s no surprise that their a couple of rap songs that celebrate fashion brands. Here’s a list of some songs that celebrate some iconic fashion brands

artistes and fashion

  1. Florida – Low / Apple Bottom Jeans

Debut single from the Carol City, Florida rapper Flo Rida. He featured T-pain on this song with one of the best hooks from the late 2000’s which goes

“Shawty had them Apple Bottom jeans

Boots with the fur (with the fur)

The whole club was lookin’ at her

She hit the flo’ (she hit the flo’!), next thang you know

Shawty got low-low-low-low-low-low-low-low

Them baggy sweat pants

And the Reeboks with the straps (with the straps)

She turned around and gave that big booty a smack (ayy!!)

She hit the flo’ (she hit the flo’!), next thang you know

Shawty got low-low-low-low-low-low-low-low”

The song had strong attributes to females and best believe the jeans recorded a boom in market sales. Flo Rida & T-pain were just doing their best for men who love butts in nice jeans.

  1. 23 – Mike Will Made It – 23 / Jordans

Ingenious producer, Mike Will, made this banger featuring Miley Cyrus, Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa. The songs speaks about the Jordan trainers and how fresh and awesome they are. Their ability to pull girls and get respect as a baller. Have in mind Jordan’s sell themselves but this song wasn’t a bad boost tho’.

  1. Tom Ford – Jay-Z / Tom Ford

We know one word from the hip-hop mogul can either make or break your brand. Look what he did to Crystal Champagne’s brand. He gave Tom Ford the shoutout they needed to go from exclusive to main stream brand.

  1. Versace – Migos

The Super trap group Migos first hit the scene with their single Versace. They gave us something new and refreshing. They also made us realize what we already knew, Versace is for ballers and we recognize that. Made the ballers in the black communities and worldwide start purchasing from the brand.

Gucci Gang – Lil Pump

  1. The Simplistic melody, the trap centric beats, the easy going lyrics and catchy hooks make this song one to test the sands of time. Impacting the younger generations to save their money to get something Gucci even if it’s a belt, made it more desirable.
