For the longest time, Nigerians have considered therapy to be some kind of taboo. *Gasp* How dare you tell a stranger your business?! But as the times change, Nigerians have become more open to therapy. However, there are still a lot of Nigerians who think therapy isn’t worth paying for, and they think the same for having a life coach. On the contrary, therapy is very much worth the money, and getting a life coach could be life changing. Often times, these two small changes are the difference between the old you and the new you, that is buried just below the surface.

After the year we have had, we honestly think that everybody could do with some therapy and coaching, seeing as we’ve all been through a lot.

If you’re still not so sure about therapy or life coaching, here are reasons why you should consider them:

Life coaches are the best! You should really consider getting one in 2021. Whether you want to make a significant career change or you want to achieve personal goals and milestones, talking to a professional life coach can help you climb over the mental blocks you encounter with any challenge. Having someone to answer to will hold you accountable for your progress. Having a life coach means that you don’t have to do it alone; it means you have someone who supports you and can guide you towards making decisions that will ultimately benefit you.
