Last week, Sad! also broke the single-day streaming record on Spotify, by passing Taylor Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do by reportedly racking up 10.4 million spins.
The rapper/singer died June 18 at age 20 after being shot in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He is the first artist to top the Hot 100 posthumously in a lead role since The Notorious B.I.G., with Mo Money Mo Problems, in 1997.
