Leading multi-brand retailer ZAZAII under the creative direction of Isoken Ogiemwonyi has opened its first standalone store in Toronto, Canada.
ZAZII, which is known for its support and commercial knowledge of African contemporary brands, celebrates this new milestone as a step forward in the brand’s mission to become a genuinely global retail platform for African contemporary brands.
The store opening comes following a high percentage of sales from its customers in North America and also the retail partnership with ZUVAA #ZAZIIxZUVAA which gave the ZAZAII brand a substantial international presence.
ZAZAII’s Toronto store will be located on College Street, in the heart of downtown Toronto and will open for trade in Fall 2017 for the beginning of the new Fashion season.
Isoken, the creative director and founder said in a statement:
“We are so excited about this new venture – with a few brands and highly curated space this is an incredible opportunity to finally bring a range of aesthetic and creative visions and high-quality independent designer brands to the Wider North America market. There’s nothing like what we do here and since Toronto is a growing destination for Fashion (Saks, Nordstrom and OFF-WHITE just opened). We are glad to have the opportunity to welcome its discerning residents to our store to discover African Fashion.”
The brand is currently in the process of selecting more top-notch contemporary fashion brands to stock in its new store including ready-to-wear accessories, shoes, jewellery, cosmetics, fragrances and gifts for the home.
